Earth was not created as a place to be remembered. This is why many still ask, "What is the meaning of life"? Those who are prideful do not understand the meaning of life. It is simple, John 3:16. Most concern themselves with the end of this scripture, however the first part of this scripture defines the meaning of life. Does God love this world? If no, then life on Earth is meaningless. If yes, then life on Earth is meaningful. What are you supposed to do to make life more meaningful? The more you understand that God loves this world, the more you will begin to see how simple yet complex life is and marvel at its existence. Our sun, a beneficial giant that rules our solar system and
provides the energy that allows life to exist on Earth. Its mass is what
keeps the Earth from flying off into the Milky Way. However, the sun will
be the entity that eventually destroys our planet. Our sun simply does not have enough mass to form a black hole or explode into a supernova. Instead, our sun will slowly run out of hydrogen and gradually grow larger and hotter into a red giant. Eventually our sun will burn out and turn into a cold dark white dwarf star. During the expansion of the sun into a red dwarf, closer planets will be engulfed by the Sun, and the Earth will simply be VAPORIZED. These are the words of the teacher, king David's son, who ruled in Jerusalem. Everything is Meaningless. "Everything is meaningless," says the Teacher, "completely meaningless!" What do people get for all their hard work under the sun Ecclesiastes 1:1-3. So, what makes life meaningful? For God so loved the world, that he sent his son not to condemn the world but to save it. God loves this world. For God this world is very meaningful. This is why you should do the will of God, since doing the will of God makes life meaningful. God is eternal and this is the key requirement to make a task meaningful. Any task in order to be truly meaningful must be eternal. Why are Harvard and Ecclesiastes being quoted here? It is important for adults to understand that all we do will not be remembered here on Earth. Scientists say that life came to Earth in the form of bacteria or developed from nonliving elements on earth, because the human race will perish on the Earth. The human race will not find another planet that can be reached and lived on by our offspring. The teacher understood this and we need to be reminded that from a biological perspective life is meaningless. We don’t remember what happened in the past, and in future generations, no one will remember what we are doing now Ecclesiastes 1:11. I also tried to find meaning by building huge homes for myself and by planting beautiful vineyards. I made gardens and parks, filling them with all kinds of fruit trees. After much thought, I decided to cheer myself with wine. And while still seeking wisdom, I clutched at foolishness. In this way, I tried to experience the only happiness most people find during their brief life in this world Ecclesiastes 2:3-5. God is in heaven, and you are here on earth. This is the main point of the teacher. Without heaven and hell life is truly meaningless. If we leave this planet and there is nothing else, then everything is truly meaningless. Thus for me and my house we will believe in the place called heaven where Jesus is king and true love lives and hell a place where there is no love since evil is selfish. Why don't the rich give more away of what they have earned, since life is meaningless? Come on are you saying that the rich are stupid, since they lack the common sense to understand that the Sun is going to vaporize the Earth? If it is common knowledge that the Earth is going to be vaporized and that the human race will perish due to the restraints of gravity, then why don't the rich give more to the poor? Yes, to a degree all humans are selfish. The rich man asked Jesus, what must I do to inherit eternal life? Jesus, said to be perfect sell everything you have and give it to the poor. The rich man was a selfish man, since he could not see the meaning of working together to accomplish the will of God. God is good and no one part of God is better than another. When we think that we should hold onto a part of God that is better than another, then that is evil. Evil is truly blind and it is unfortunate that many listen to it, because they will find their place in seclusion all alone. The more you have, the more people come to help you spend it. So what good is wealth—except perhaps to watch it slip through your fingers (Ecclesiastes 5:11)! When you make a promise to God, don't delay in following through, for God takes no pleasure in fools. Keep all your promises you make to him. Talk is cheap, like daydreams and other useless activities. Fear God instead Ecclesiastes 5:4-7. We should Love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us, just as Jesus Christ taught us. Jesus is not telling us to love Satan or pray to Satan. Therefore, Satan (the antichrist) will not come as one of us in human form. Why? Satan lacks that power. And it is a good thing to receive wealth from God and the good health to enjoy it. To enjoy your work and accept your lot in life—this is indeed a gift from God. 20 God keeps such people so busy enjoying life that they take no time to brood over the past (Ecclesiastes 5:11). There was a small town with only a few people, and a great king came with his army and besieged it. 15 A poor, wise man knew how to save the town, and so it was rescued. But afterward no one thought to thank him. 16 So even though wisdom is better than strength, those who are wise will be despised if they are poor. What they say will not be appreciated for long (Ecclesiastes 9:14-16). God created people to be virtuous, but they have each turned to follow their own downward path (Ecclesiastes 27:29). Accept Jesus Christ before you become fearful of falling and worry about danger in the streets; before your hair turns white like an almond tree in bloom, and you drag along without energy like a dying grasshopper, and the caper berry no longer inspires sexual desire. Accept Jesus Christ before you near the grave, your everlasting home, when the mourners will weep at your funeral. For then the dust will return to the earth, and the spirit will return to God because of Jesus Christ. Otherwise, your life is truly meaningless a chasing after the wind. Because we have turned to follow our own downward path, thus acting on evil. Therefore it is not possible for us to be called children of God alone, we are also children of the devil by doing his will which was the sin we chose to act upon. Reconciliation concerns getting into heaven, where the Glory of God exists. Reconciliation does not occur after death, since the devil will call you his own. God will not reconcile with the Devil, since the Devil desires to tell God what to do. He told Jesus, if he would bow down and worship him he would give him all the kingdoms of this world. Jesus did the will of God, thus he is without sin. God is full of truth and the Devil is full of greed. And in that greed, the devil lost understanding the nature of his creation. |
