The virgin birth was not a sexual conception. To study and designate it a sexual conception would be misguided, so how did this miracle or sequence of controlled chromosomal changes take place? This was more than a simple guided mutation it was distinctly planned miracle. Something great always has a plan. Miracles are distinct events, since they are not often repeated. Science requires the experiment to be repeated at least three times before a conclusion can be made. Thus miracles are hard to explain, because man can’t predict when they will occur. Science concerns gathering information to make a conclusion, which is usually a prediction. For example, if I was studding earthquakes and people lived in an earthquake region, they would want to know my prediction of a future earthquake in that area. Insurance companies establish premiums based on research of this type.
The virgin birth was a miracle. Based on experiments with spontaneous generation organisms don’t appear out of nothing. Can nothing produce new chromosomes or money in your wallet? God can make something appear out of emptiness; therefore God has to be present. A good example would be yeast rising bread. To our eyes the bread rises and fills empty space. God has this power over nothing. We should not expect DNA to appear out of nothing. It is possible for base pairs to change arrangements, which is a typical mutation. This was far greater than a typical mutation, since genes were produced which changed the chromosomal function. There are only four known base pairs in DNA, rearrangements are common and called crossing over. Normal meiosis produces haploid gametes; so comparing our birth to the virgin birth would mean the other half would have to come from nothing. This would be uncontrolled, since nothing has no plan and lacks force to carry out a plan.
The virgin birth was distinct. It was distinct when compared to typical sexual births where nondisjunction occurs. Most babies that have dramatic nondisjunction end up still birth. However, individuals with Klinefelter Syndrome, Down syndrome, and phenotypical males suffer from abnormalities due to nondisjunction. Inbreeding increases the probability of genetic mutations. Small genetic mutations are considered microevolution. A German Shepard that is born with hip problems has to adapt to this condition. Creationists do not disagree with small-scale changes, since reproduction of life does not produce absolute identical offspring. Currently, genetic biologists don’t know how organisms change chromosomal number. A Change in chromosomal number would be considered macroevolution. Macroevolution concerns large-scale change. A large-scale chromosomal change will produce different species. A species is defined by its ability to reproduce only with itself. There are many different birds that are not in the same species. Which means that every bird can’t reproduce with every bird and produce offspring. Creationists strongly disagree with macroevolution. We believe that species have not changed since the moment of creation, thus species that were produced at the moment of creation are producing the same offspring today. Remember, God is the same today as he was yesterday. Thus, with God all things are possible. The creation story reveals the consistent power of God.
Why do I believe the creation story? Our government and Justice system are established under it. In our school system, biology the study of life is taught without mention of Jesus. Jesus said, “ I am the way, the truth, and the life”. Thus our system of government is established on Adam and Eve based on the word in the Genesis story. I can train my dog to behave, but he is still insane and could bite or kill a child that unexpectedly intruded his space. Establishing a government under evolution would require only mental hospitals or Zoo’s to keep people locked up for life. If you come directly from something that has an insane nature, then you will inherit that nature. Thus, that person would be wild and not capable of comprehending death. A person could be trained to behave, but once a violent crime is committed he would have to be placed in an institution. Insane behavior can’t be predicted; it must be monitored and controlled. The government could not take the risk of releasing one million gorillas in a city. The risks are too great. Remember to be insane one does not know the difference between right and wrong. How could this person be held accountable for breaking the law? Where does murder fit into the law of natural selection?
Where does stealing fit into the law of natural selection? Laws are meaningless, thus the government is meaningless to those that are insane. Can a sinner become insane or have insane offspring? Drug abuse can lead to a person becoming insane. In this situation, the question becomes who is responsible? Why, because the government wants to prevent this from happening. Its job is to promote a safe environment to live. Moreover, it takes from the rich and gives to the poor. This is anti-natural selection. Who is responsible for our behavior? The creation story doesn’t blame apes or monkeys for our actions. It distinctly holds Adam and Eve accountable. It says that you don’t have any monkey or insane nature in you. Where does coveting fit into the law of natural selection? All animals except humans are insane based on our justice system. Animals of the wild may fight to the death over reproductive and food rights. In our society if two males fight and one dies, then the other will be charged with murder. Animals can’t be held accountable. No justice, No peace… This is the reason the jungle is called wild. Accountability for an action is the first step toward justice; the second step concerns punishment. An animal can’t be punished. It can only be trained. An animal must know the difference between right and wrong in order to be punished. When we blame Apes for our behavior, then we are not taking responsibility for our actions. For example, they are acting like that because apes are their ancestors. It is not their fault that they can’t stop stealing. Were not at fault they got that from the apes, thus you can’t hold them responsible for the murder they just committed for those new shoes.
God created Jesus distinctly in Mary. People with Down syndrome typically have speech and walking difficulties. Inbreeding or marrying family members produce genetic problems; evidence can be found by studying Amish or other groups that practice this lifestyle. This leads us to people with Down syndrome. Those that are born with nonchromosomal disjunction have a dramatic genetic change. Nonchromosomal disjunction plays a role in increasing chromosomal number. Inbreeding increases the likelihood of deformities. This prevents over population and increases the likelihood of sex between males and females that contain nonchromosomal disjunctions. Meiosis may eventually separate the offspring chromosomes into pairs. Remember inbreeding causes the most genetic changes because it promotes the expression of recessive genes. The planning that went into the virgin birth is beyond my comprehension. Why? A virgin birth can’t be predicted scientifically. Sex in sexually reproducing organisms is how chromosomal number increases. Thus, the birth of Jesus is distinct. Therefore, we can be certain that no other living organism has been given life by the same method. Without the virgin birth we would not be here. There would be only other wild animals, thus the government is established on the shoulders of Jesus Christ.
How can we be certain that sex produces an increase in chromosomal number? When a person is born with Down syndrome, he or she has three of the 21 human chromosomes. When a normal person is born with two of the 21 human chromosomes, the one from the father is distinct just as the one from the mother. Crossing over occurs for several years before the child is capable of reproducing. At that time the 21 chromosomal pair are no longer distinct for the father or mother. They are a representation of the child. Moreover, if you extracted the chromosome that the child received from the mother it would be different from the one the mother gave at conception.
Each species typically requires the same number of chromosomes to mate. The odd number produces noticeable changes compared to the standard. What are the possibilities? Both mates have to possess the same number of chromosomes. Meiosis could separate the three into two and one followed by a separation of the two into one producing a total of three haploid chromosomes. An egg might receive an extra haploid chromosome. The male would have to produce a sperm with the same result.
What is the first requirement for producing a species that has a different number of chromosomes than the original? First we must have evidence that the chromosomal number has increased. Chromosomal nondisjunction provides the evidence for increasing chromosomal number. The second step is not very common. This is the reason why macroevolution is difficult to prove. Once an organism is produced with a new number of chromosomes it must find a mate or die of extinction. Probability of producing a male and female that have the same chromosome type increase is very small.
The birth of Jesus had to be distinct. This is how he related to us. Moreover, there was no sex involved in Jesus birth. Nondisjunction provided the materials and God built a miracle. Jesus was born a healthy baby boy, truly a miracle. Jesus in appearance most likely favored his mother. The wisdom that he displayed showed he had a strong desire to obey his father. The mathematical probability for the Immaculate Conception would be difficult to calculate. Why? It was a miracle. How could this be possible? Jesus taught us that all things are possible through prayer. Many countless people were praying for the birth of Jesus. Praying for a Savior, the Ultimate Leader, King of Kings, Lord or Lords, and prayer is answered.
When a close friend develops a sickness or cancer, we as Christians put them on a prayer list. Sickness and cancer are both uncontrolled events. We pray to the Father to help our body regain control over them. Our biological defensive mechanisms can’t predict when a cell will turn cancerous; thus our body does not try to stop cancer. Our body tries to control cancer. We go to Christ in prayer when these events happen to us because we know he is control and we seek to do his will. His understanding has saved countless lives, proof that God is in control. All glory to Jesus Christ. |
